Job Description:

As editor of two national magazines (Cessna Owner and Pipers), you have the opportunity to use your word wrangling rockstar skills to provide quality curated content to our vast audience of readers who own and fly Cessna and Piper aircraft.

You will be responsible for: hiring freelance writers and assigning articles, authoring and editing articles for print and digital applications, working with our dedicated teams to create a top-notch product.
A working knowledge of AP journalism standards is required. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree majoring in journalism, English, or communication, but it is not required.
If you have editorial experience, strong relationship-building skills and a positive attitude, you will enjoy the upbeat atmosphere, collaborative environment, and exceptional working conditions. This is a full-time, 40 hour-per-week position, with benefits.
Aviation industry knowledge preferred but not required.
JP Media LLC is an established national publisher, now in our 39th year. We publish six company-owned magazine brands, serve two member organizations, host multiple websites, discussion boards, and produce several newsletters. Iola is a beautiful community just 30 minutes from Stevens Point and 15 minutes from Waupaca.
